Let Me Live in My Own World

Today’s world is artificial & fake. It is better to create your own.

Let me live in my own world,

Let me survive without need to hide,

Don’t hurt me, prick me where it hurts the most,

Let me live me as I am lost,

Lost in my own world that causes me no harm,

Unlike this one, which takes away my charm,

I know I need to abide,

Abide by the rules of this world,

But these rules bind me, suffocate me,

They take away my life from me,

Giving only pain, without any gain,

I feel caged, I feel caned,

I feel deserted & alone,

None by my side, I am the only one,

To heal myself living in fantasies,

Created by myself, enjoyed by me,

I cherish them as my memories,

Now I feel good without any grief,

My life is too brief,

I cannot do whatever I want,

But till I hold breath, I only want,

Let me live in my own world, created by me,

Let me live in my own world, desired by me.
