It’s high time we have seen India winning a
gold medal. India is lagging behind at 45th position & still away
from a gold medal. I hope India gets its first gold medal soon &
opens its account in the London Olympics Event. China is leading with US
at second position & Britain following them.
Till now the highest medal achieved by India is silver & I wish it progresses to win a gold.
Indian athletes performance has been quite
dismal as India hasn’t even got a single gold medal by now. I think
government should fund atheletes & motivate & encourage them to
perform by not announcing rewards but understanding their problems &
funding their needs. They should be trained efficiently &
effectively for such an event so that in the coming future we can see
India in one of the top ten slots in olympics.
Our country possesses great talents & they should given platform to be trained & excel in their fields. Women in India should be encouraged to trace their dreams & government should see that women’s rights are being implemented in our country. Only framing rules is not the responsibility of our government. They should see that they are implemented & their success or failure should be accessed. Then only our country can step out from backwardness & Indian people can raise their standard & enjoy status equivalent to people of the developed countries. We have too much to do & lagging far behind due to our personal glitches which are serving only selfishness of a handful of people & ignoring the overall progress of our country.
